Where Should I Add My YouTube Subscribe Button On My Blog?
While it is totally up to you to decide, my suggestion would be to try out different placements and see if you can track any changes on your subscription rate.
At the time of writing this, i’ve just left my YouTube subscribe button to the right side so that it is there no matter what blog post my visitor is reading.
You could also try placing your YouTube subscribe button at the end of each blog post or directly below your embedded YouTube video. No one can really pinpoint a particular placement for maximum conversion. It would depend on your blog’s layout, theme, colour mixing etc.
So, try out different areas on your website and see which strategy works the best for you!
Why Should You Learn How To Add YouTube Subscribe Button To Your WordPress Website?
The reason why you are here obviously shows that you have a YouTube channel or are planning to start a YouTube channel. And you’d like to promote it!
It is an extremely good idea to have a wordpress website/blog along with a YouTube channel and i highly recommend it. By adding your YouTube subscribe button to your wordpress website would increase the chances of people discovering your channel.
If your wordpress blog content is related to what your YouTube channel has, you would not only increase the chances of people discovering your channel but also a high subscriber rate as well.
Also, having your subscribe button on your wordpress website would indicate google that you are actively promoting and trying to relate your website with your YouTube channel. This is a very good strategy to be practicing. It would help in ranking both your wordpress website and your youtube videos. I’d recommend including the links and embedding your YouTube videos whenever you see appropriate on your blog content.
YouTube subscribe links could be used in your wordpress blogs where you can insert the subscribe link to a text. Here is mine below.
So when you click on the above link, it take you directly to my channel asking you to confirm “Are you sure you want to subscribe to Bob’s Den”. It is that easy. If you have enough traffic coming to a page, and you decide to use this strategy(i don’t see any reason why not), you could increase your subscription rate quickly on your YouTube channel.
Should I Use A Plugin To Add YouTube Subscribe Button To My WordPress Blog?
There surely are a lot of plugins that would let you do this; probably in more fancy ways as well. I personally don’t recommend using a plugin to add YouTube subscribe button since google themselves has provided a direct method to execute this.
Also, i personally don’t like the idea of unnecessarily using a bunch of plugins to a wordpress website. I’ve had previous experience where it slowed down my site and even to the extent that my whole website got hacked. But if you came across a plugin which you 100% trust, go ahead and try it out. Maybe you could get the most out of using that plugin for your YouTube subscribe button.
